We built this because we’ve lived it.

The Wolf Kamins Group is the partnership of Johanna Wolf, Psy.D., PCC, and Liz Kamins, MBA — a consulting psychologist and a C-suite organizational strategist who have spent their careers in the highest-stakes leadership environments in the world.

We first met as freshman at The Johns Hopkins University in 1994, and then again as peers navigating our own professional pivots in 2025. We realized that the combination of what we each bring — deep expertise in the psychology and neuroscience of human behavior, and the operational and organizational experience to translate that science into practice — is something that rarely exists in the same room. We built The Wolf Kamins Group to bring it to the organizations and leaders who need it most.

Earlier in her career, she held roles at the U.S. Department of Treasury, MuniMae, and the Corporate Executive Board. JOHANNA WOLF, PSY.D, PCC

Consulting Psychologist & Executive Coach

Johanna brings a rare combination: deep expertise in the psychology and neuroscience of human behavior, and nearly two decades of experience in some of the highest-pressure leadership environments on earth. That foundation is what makes the difference between an intervention that shifts behavior on the surface and one that changes the underlying patterns driving it — and actually sticks.

Before founding Hungry Wolf Consulting LLC, Johanna spent nearly seven years as Command Psychologist for a joint special operations unit (JSOC) — one of the most demanding leadership environments on earth. That experience shaped her understanding of what it actually takes to lead under pressure, adapt under uncertainty, and build teams that perform when it matters most.

She is an ICF PCC-credentialed executive coach, a Level II AQai Certified Partner, and a member of the Society of Consulting Psychology (APA Division 13). Her assessment toolkit includes AQai, Hogan, EQ-i, TCI, and 360s.

She is also the co-host of The Toxic Leader Podcast with Lt. Col. (Ret.) Eli Myers and co-founder of The P2 Collective alongside Liz Kamins.
